Mowery Clinic is pleased to welcome nurse practitioner Tawni Lehecka, APRN, to Mowery Women’s Clinic.
Lehecka graduated from Frontier University with a master’s degree in nursing and is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She joins Mowery Clinic with over ten years of experience in women’s health.Nurse practitioner, Tawni Lehecka, APRN, joins Mowery Clinic of Salina.
“I worked in labor and delivery for many years, and I also was an AWHONN fetal monitoring instructor. I enjoy women’s health because it gives me the opportunity to support other women and be an advocate for them,” said Lehecka.
For years, Lehecka worked as a labor and delivery nurse, often times alongside Dr. Leslie Ablard, OB/GYN. However, in 2016 she and her family relocated to Wichita. Although Lehecka continued working in women’s health, she wanted to pursue more, and she completed her master’s degree to become a nurse practitioner.
“After I completed my master’s I learned about the opportunity to move back to Salina and work with Dr. Ablard as a nurse practitioner. Dr. Ablard is a tremendous physician so I was very excited. The staff and nurses here have been really great too,” said Lehecka.
Lehecka is working with Dr. Leslie Ablard at Mowery Women’s Clinic.
“Tawni is a great addition to Mowery Clinic. She provides excellent patient care and has a lot of experience in women’s health. We are confident that her contributions will help improve the health and wellness of many women in the community,” said Dr. Leslie Ablard.
