Mowery Clinic is looking for a part-time Maintenance Technician. This position will perform routine maintenance of the building and grounds, including minor electrical, plumbing, lighting, etc. Will be responsible for maintaining a schedule of routine maintenance and contacting and scheduling vendors and contractors when necessary. May perform light cleaning duties outside of the scope of contracted cleaning service. Will maintain the grounds and parking lots, including seasonal removal of snow/ice, etc.
A qualified applicant must work with a mindset of safety first, including working in a safe manner and recognize unsafe situations. Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to problem solve. Must be a dependable team player with the ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with patients and co-workers in a positive and professional manner. Requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively and efficiently. A minimum of two-years maintenance experience is preferred.
Physical requirements are walking, sitting, standing, bending, climbing stairs/ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds. Daytime hours with the ability to be flexible in weekly schedule.
