Our team of gastroenterologists uses the most advanced technology to accurately diagnose and treat a number of GI related conditions. They perform such procedures as:

Endoscopic ultrasound – a procedure to examine the inside of a person’s digestive tract. The doctor uses a thin, flexible tube with an attached camera and light to view the inside of the stomach or intestines. An endoscopy can help the doctor determine the cause of abnormal symptoms the patient might be experiencing and remove a sample of tissue to send to the laboratory for further testing.

Colonoscopies – a colonoscopy is performed in order to view the inside of the colon to determine if there are polyps that need to be removed or any signs of colorectal cancer. This type of screening is one of the best ways to prevent colon cancer and should be done regularly if you are over 50 years old or at a higher risk of developing this type of cancer.
